What is a Poker Bonus?

A Poker Bonus is an incentive that Poker Rooms give you to play on their site. For example Full Tilt Poker offers a $600 bonus if you deposit $600. This bonus is then paid out in increments based on the number of hands you play.

There are two types of Poker Bonuses; Deposit and Reload bonuses.

A deposit bonus is a bonus that a poker room gives you for signing up with their site. Going back to our first example Full Tilt Poker gives you a 100% sign-up bonus up to $600 on your first deposit with the site.

A reload bonus is normally a promotional bonus that a poker room will give you a few times each year. For example Full Tilt Poker often has a holiday reload bonus that is 50% up to $300. So if you deposit $600 they will give you a $300 bonus.
