ePassporte – ePassporte is currently my payment processor choice. They are accepted at many of the top poker rooms like Full Tilt Poker and Ultimate Bet. They also accept U.S. Players. However the fees are a little steep. They charge $5 for every $100 deposited and the $5 comes out first. So be sure you deposit in $100 increments. A $101 deposit will be charged a $10 fee.
Ecocard – Ecocard is another payment processor that accepts US citizens. The list of poker rooms that accept Ecocard is fairly small however if your poker room of choice accepts them they are a very viable option.
Neteller – For years Neteller was the payment processor of choice for the majority of online poker players. However recently they have closed down business to the United States and Canada. For the rest of the world they are still a viable option with low or no fees and accepted at almost every poker room around the world.
Debit / Credit Card – Another option that the majority of poker rooms have is credit and debit cards. This is another option for U.S. players and normally comes without fees. However whether or not your card will work depends on your bank. The majority of credit card companies reject payments to poker rooms. Customers report the most success with debit cards. However I recently was able to get my credit card to work at Full Tilt Poker.
Other Options – There are other payment processor options out there including click2pay, ewalletXpress, firepay, and moneybookers. However none of these options currently accept U.S. citizens and the majority of international poker players prefer neteller over them. If you are an international player that would rather not use neteller you may want to look into these options.
